ARTIST RESEARCH- Antonio Mora

PORTRAITS

I think Antonio Mora’s work is so strange but this is what I actually like about it, its so visually interesting to look at and much more unique then just normal portraits. It has me so intrigued with what the next photographs will look like in his collection of work.  He is a Spanish artist who combines with talent portraits photographed in various landscapes. I think working this way with portraits is a lot more creative and I would most definitely like to give it a go with the project that I have started now which is self portrait. I love the fact of layering an image and I also love that he has done his photographs in black and white which creates a better effect and just looks better as an image. I think his work links so much into my own project because for my personal items I chose two different city’s that mean something to me and I also chose a family photograph, so to combines these in some kind of way to look like Antonio Mora’s work would be a very interesting experiment to do and I would love to see the outcome of this.
